WCR Mature Woman Scholarship
 

The Woman's Club of Raleigh offers the Nell Barker scholarships.  These scholarships with values from $250 to $1,500 each are offered for the "Mature Woman." Priority is given to candidates who are 30 years old or older and have been accepted to a North Carolina university or college at the undergraduate level.

Deadline: First Wednesday in March

The Scholarship Committee announces the winners the second Wednesday in May. The money is sent to the colleges during the summer for the following school year.

 

Sallie Southall Cotten Scholarship

One scholarship recipient will represent the Woman's Club of Raleigh in competition for a state awarded Sallie Southall Cotten Scholarship. This coveted scholarship covers all four years of college and is valued at more than $20,000. Priority is given to candidates who attend Athens Drive, Broughton, Enloe, Southeast or Wakefield High Schools.

WCR Scholarships for High School Seniors

The Woman's Club of Raleigh offers the Ann Collins Scholarship, the Helen Graham Scholarship, and the Lois Fisher Scholarship valued at $1,000 each to public school high school seniors who plan to attend a North Carolina college or university. Priority is given to candidates who attend Athens Drive, Broughton, Enloe, Southeast or Wakefield High School.
