President's Welcome
Message from the President, Margot Murphy “Get Carried Away With Volunteering”
Welcome to The Woman’s Club of Raleigh’s website! We are beginning a new administration and our main focus during the next year will be Breast Cancer. We will be supporting the Pretty In Pink Foundation, a nonprofit organization that helps underinsured and uninsured breast cancer patients obtain access to treatment through financial assistance, as well as providing life saving and life changing resources.
We will also be involved in our GFWC-NC President’s project—Literacy—by providing tutors in two inner city elementary schools. We want to help make sure these young students can read before going on to middle school. These are just two of the many, many projects our Club supports. I invite you to explore our website and learn more about our Club, our members and the worthwhile services we provide to our community.
