The Home Life Department educate club members about health and consumer issues, focusing on the quality of life for women, the elderly, and those with disabilities.

In 1910 our contribution of linens began a long association with Rex Hospital that continues to this day.
During the Depression years, the club sponsored a soup kitchen and sewing room in the clubhouse.
In the early 1960's members became key contributors to the city's hospital service guilds.
In 1969 we hosted Betty Furness, the U.S. Director of Consumer Affairs
In 1971 we helped to establish a library at Dorothea Dix Hospital.
In 1978, club members began providing docents for the Executive Mansion during tourist season.
