Community Service Programs and Committees
Unlike single-issue organizations, the Woman’s Club of Raleigh’s structure allows Club members to address the emerging needs of the city, county and state and to respond quickly to calls for help. The Club has both the ability to tap into the expertise available through the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC), the General Federation of Women’s Clubs of North Carolina (GFWCNC), Club members and other organizations and the freedom to shape programs to suit particular community needs. Arts Community Service Program
The Club offers a diverse chance for "hands-on" service in the community as well as for personal growth. Each member is encouraged to participate as little or as often as her schedule permits. The Woman's Club provides a perfect setting for a woman to connect socially and professionally with others.Conservation Community Service Program Education Community Service Program Home Life Community Service Program International Outreach Community Service Program Public Issues Community Service Program Night Community Service Program Our members include teachers, business owners, social workers, elected officials, medical professionals, homemakers, corporate executives and retirees.
