Arts Festival Information
The 2008-2009 Woman’s Club and Junior Woman’s Club of Raleigh Arts Festival Awards Entry Forms are now available for Raleigh students in Grades 9-12 in Drama, Literature, Music, Public Speaking, and Sewing.
The program billed as the largest Arts recognition program for young people in North Carolina is in its 42nd year. The local Arts Festival Date is Monday, January 26, 2009 from 12:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the Woman’s Club of Raleigh, 3300 Woman’s Club Drive, Raleigh, NC.
Deadline for Literature entries is January 12.
Mail or deliver entries to the Woman’s Club of Raleigh, 3300 Woman’s Club Drive, Raleigh, NC 27609. ATTENTION: Literature Contest Chairman.
Place Winners at the Local Festival will move on to competition at the District Arts Festival at First Baptist Church in Raleigh, on Saturday, February 21, 2009 and the 1 Place Winners at the District Festival will move on to competition at the State Arts Festival at Salem College in Winston-Salem, on March 21, 2009.
