The 2011-2012 Woman’s Club and Junior Woman’s Club of Raleigh Arts Festival Awards entry information and entry forms are now available for Raleigh students in Grades 9-12 in Drama, Literature, Music, Public Speaking, and Sewing.

The program billed as the largest Arts recognition program for young people in North Carolina is in its 45th year. The local Arts Festival Date is Monday, January 30, 2012 from 12:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Woman’s Club of Raleigh, 3300 Woman’s Club Drive, Raleigh, NC.

Deadline for Literature entries is January 16, 2012.  All other entries are due the day the contest.

Mail or deliver entries to the Woman’s Club of Raleigh, 3300 Woman’s Club Drive, Raleigh, NC 27609. ATTENTION: Literature Contest Chairman.

First place winners at the Local Festival will move on to competition at the GFWC-NC District Arts Festival at First Baptist Church in Raleigh, on Saturday, February 11, 2012.  The first place winners at the District Festival will advance on to the GFWC-NC State Arts Festival competition at Campbell University, Buies Creek, on Saturday, March 10, 2012.
